Snowden is a Scapegoat

Listening to this guy speak tells you he's no passionate fighter for freedom, not an all American Patriot willing to sacrifice his well being for the greater good...   This Snowden guy's spiel hasn't been well thought out, or maybe he strayed from the script just a bit, as his interviewer was most likely given access to this supposed "whistleblower" under strict disclosure agreements and conditions.   If not, this guy panicked and went to the press as soon as possible to be put on the radar knowing he had been a target or part of something he didn't realize he was part of and accidentally concluded what came to be the case in a way that flagged him and had him in harm's way.

Several months ago a contractor from the U.S. had the same revelation.  He realized he was unwittingly part of some unscrupulous activities and was not down with it.  He grew increasingly uncomfortable and wanted to leave China, as he phoned his mother several times letting her know he was getting scared and was trying to come home. They were not to quick to cut him loose, and then he was found hanging in his bathroom, things half packed, and his death was ruled a suicide, end of story.. small story that went nowhere.

This guy, Snowden lets listeners know he will be worried for the "rest of his life" for "as long as it may or may not be"...   his concerns were of "FUTURE" officals' abuse of power with this information at arm's length, not the CURRENT administration.   He specified "FUTURE" without saying anything about his concern about this administration despite the flood of scandalous deception that's obviously been rampant within THIS one specifically since DAY ONE.   A common sense deduction for anyone with half a clue.   This interview was NOT planned by this guy with a cool head, despite his ability to keep it cool for the most part, in the interview that we saw.   He was under duress, yet at times when he felt more comfortable, his words were more sophisticated and intelligent, then switched to what sounded more scripted and/or dropped down to a layman's level of understanding.    He isn't stupid, and he may have come to the conclusion he was part of something he didn't mean to be part of by mistakenly letting on that he felt something wasn't right.  Whatever it was, he either felt compelled to get on the radar as fast as possible in an attempt to protect himself, or forced to go on the record and show his concern for FUTURE administrations to abuse the information in exchange for his or his family's life.    Very disturbing.   He is an extremely intelligent guy, but his experience in the real world has been limited to virtual geek-society smarts, still valuable, but a vulnerability none the less.

As the talking heads tell us he has checked out of that hotel in Bangkok, they dwell on his heroism or treasonous activities... Dwell on where they hopefully don't dispose of his body.  Or maybe your duty, as so called 'journalists" to protect the people.   History will Dwell on your complicity in the downfall of this country and the people of the once United States of America more harshly than any "individual" already does.  WE tried, despite your brazen negligence and lacking, not to mention getting in our way.
